StudentWala is designed for school operations. Schools control most student and parent data entered into the system.

- School operational data: student profiles, attendance, fees, results, staff records, and messages you choose to store or send.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, audit logs, and usage diagnostics needed to secure and improve the service.
- Billing data: plan selection, invoices, and payment references where paid features are used.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve StudentWala, authenticate users, deliver WhatsApp/SMS where enabled, generate reports, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell school or student personal data to third-party advertisers.
4. Sharing and processors
We may share limited data with infrastructure providers, payment gateways, WhatsApp/SMS partners, and support tools strictly to operate the service.

School data is retained while the account remains active and as needed for backups, billing, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
Schools may request export or deletion subject to verification, legal retention requirements, and soft-delete policies used for operational recovery.

We apply tenant isolation, access controls, encrypted transport, and operational monitoring appropriate for a school SaaS platform.
No online system is completely secure. Schools should use strong passwords, limit roles, and train staff on responsible data handling.
7. Children and parent communications
StudentWala is used by schools to manage student information. Schools are responsible for lawful basis and consent before storing student or parent contact details or sending alerts.
Parents generally interact through messages or future mobile apps initiated by the school, not by creating public profiles on StudentWala.

School administrators can update records, manage user access, and contact support regarding data correction or export requests.
