Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of StudentWala.in, a multi-tenant school operations platform operated by Alpha Softwares, Rajkot, India ("Alpha", "we", "us").

By creating an account, signing in, or using the service on behalf of a school, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and that school.

2. Service description

StudentWala helps Indian private schools manage daily operations such as student records, attendance, fees, results, messaging, and related administrative workflows.

Core modules may be offered free. Optional paid modules, WhatsApp credits, support calls, and training may be billed separately as shown in the product or your plan.

3. Accounts and access

School administrators are responsible for user accounts created under their tenant, role assignments, and safeguarding login credentials.

You must provide accurate registration information and promptly update school contact details when they change.

• Do not share passwords or OTPs with unauthorised persons.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We may suspend access to protect the platform, other schools, or comply with law.

4. School data and responsibilities

Schools remain the owners of student, parent, staff, and financial data entered into StudentWala.

You are responsible for obtaining any consent required under applicable law before uploading personal data, sending WhatsApp messages, or sharing reports with parents.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, scrape data, reverse engineer the service, or use StudentWala for unlawful, abusive, or misleading communications.

6. WhatsApp and messaging credits

WhatsApp and SMS features depend on third-party providers. Delivery is not guaranteed. Purchased credits are non-transferable between unrelated tenants unless explicitly permitted.

Message templates and recipient lists must comply with applicable telecom, privacy, and school communication policies.

7. Availability and changes

We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades, or events beyond our control may cause temporary disruption.

We may modify features, pricing, or these Terms with reasonable notice where required. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha Softwares is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of StudentWala.

Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid by your school to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or INR 5,000 if no fees were paid.
